Local media reported several evacuations taking place in Gorkha (40-50 HHs), Lamjung (367 HHs), Nuwakot, and Rasuwa in the past week. It is unclear whether any of the relocations took place under the 30 June Government directive to evacuate high-risk settlements by mid-July. There are reports that some of the settlements identified under the Government plan have already moved. On 8 July, the Humanitarian Country Team sent a letter to the Government requesting further details on the directive, including the numbers of evacuees, locations, expected duration of evacuations, and risk reduction plans. Landslides and rockfalls continue to cause death and injury, as well as disrupt the provision of assistance and delivery of aid. On 9 July, a boulder struck a bus in Nuwakot, killing 4 people. In Dolakha district, one person was killed and one missing in a dry landslide on 3 July.
