Highlights:
1. All of 90 VDCs have a focal point agency and WASH programs ongoing with 17 WASH Cluster partners present.
2. 18,016 people have benefited from approx. 29,029 hygiene kits. Estimated Caseload: 145,512 (12% reached).
3. 30,976 people have received water treatment products (includes PoU treatment and bulk chlorination) and 2,758 people have been assisted with repaired water systems. Estimated Caseload: Emergency Water: 72,756 (43% reached). Sustained Water: 56,143 (5% reached).
4. 102 people in camps have received access to emergency sanitation and 3,685 people have been assisted with house hold latrines Caseload: Emergency Sanitation: 4,696 (2% reached) Sustainable Sanitation: 245,189 (2% reached).
5. WASH Cluster partners plan to support schools and health centres in 19 VDCs with WASH in schools/health facilities.
