Situated in the lap of Himalayas Nepal occupies 0.03% of the total land of earth and 0.3% of land of Asia. The area covered by Nepal is 147,181 sq km with the population of around 2.5 million people. Nepal is the poorest country of South Asia and it is ranked at 12th position in the world. Poverty is the main disaster which kills people slowly and makes the country poorer. According to Human Development Report (2014) 23.8% of the total population is under poverty in Nepal. This leads to child labour, child and mother mortality rate, human trafficking and many more. The geographical structure of Nepal itself is a challenge to provide development to each nook and corner of the country.
