Making the world a better place to live in, UN has been working for the common good of its member countries from all around the globe since its establishment on 24 October 1945.This organization is regarded as a place where nations can talk through their differences calmly. For the rapid progress and betterment of this organization the minor and major issues regarding all branches need to be addressed. The General Assembly can be established as “A Parliament of Worlds Sovereign States”. UN should expand its role of maintenance of peace in conflict ridden areas along with the increment in involvement of youths in its projects. It should raise protective environmental issues not only at global but also at the local level. UN should take steps to prevent nuclear proliferation and nuclear disarmament. The General Assembly should be empowered and elimination of veto status should take place so that equal power is vested to all and there is no argumentation about discrimination which can lead the UN into widespread disrepute.
