Key priority sectors as of 3 June remain Shelter, Food, Health and WASH. There is increasing focus on livelihood and emerging concerns about vulnerable groups.
Sindhupalchok preliminary findings: between 11 and 24 May 2015, 64 out of 79 VDCs in Sindhupalchock were assessed to capture the sector- specific needs. The preliminary findings identified 55% of the population of assessed VDCs is in need, with 38% in immediate need of support. Full report, including in-depth sector-specific findings, will be made available before the 10th of June.
Needs assessments coverage: as of 3 June assessments conducted by different clusters, NGOs and other partners cover 24 districts and 263 VDCs. Among the 7 most affected districts identified by revised Flash Appeal, Dhading has the best coverage of 64% VDCs, Ramechhap has the lowest of 4%. Duplication is reported in Gorkha, Sindhupalchok and Dhading. Key figures and maps are available in a separate document.
