Being LGBT In Asia: नेपाल देशीय प्र​तिवेदन : समलिङ्गी, महिला, पुरुष, द्विलिङ्गी तथा तेस्रोलिङ्गी (LGBT) व्यक्ति र नागिरक समाजका लागि कानुनी तथा सामाजिक वातावरणको विषयमा सहभागितामूलक समीक्षा तथा विश्लेषण

यस प्रतिवेदन नेपालका (LGBT) मानिस र संगठनह का लागि काननी र सामाजिक वातावरणको साथसाथै अप्रिल ​२०१४ मा काठमाडौमा सम्पन्न​ भएको नेपाल राष्ट्रिय​ (LGBT) सामुदाियक संवाद कायर्क्रम (संवाद कायर्क्रम) का बहस र निष्कषर्हरूको समीक्षा गरेको छ । यसले LGBT अधिकारलाई मानव अधिकार सम्बन्धी सन्धि र कानुन, काननी वातावरण र सामजिक​ सांकृतिक वातावरण, र धमर्सँग;अझ विशेष गरी शिक्षा, रोजगारी,पारिवारिक​ मामिला राजनीतिक मामिला र LGBT सम्बद्ध संघसंस्थाहरू को क्षमतासँग जोडेर एक सिसंहावलोकन प्रस्तुत गदर्छ। संवाद कायर्क्रममा LGBT संगठनहरुबाट विविभन्न​ पृष्ठभूमी र उपसमूहहरूको प्रितिनिधत्व गर्ने ५७ जना अभियन्ताहरूका साथसाथै सरकार, राष्ट्रिय​ मानव अधिकार आयोग, विभिन्न UN एजेन्सी, संयक्त राष्ट्रिय​ अमेरिकी सरकार र अन्य विकास साझेदारका प्रितिनिधहरूले भाग लिएका थिए । उक्त संवाद कायर्क्रम अमेरिकी अन्तराष्ट्रिय​ विकास नियोग(USAID) को साझेदारी र संयक्त राष्ट्रिय​ बाल कोष (युनिसेफ) अन्तगर्त नेपाल किशोर विकास तथा सहभागिता विभाग (ADAP) को सहयोगमा संयक्त राष्ट्रिय​ संघ विकास कायर्क्रम (UNDP) ले आयोजना गरेको थियो ।
यो प्रितवेदन ' Being LGBT in Aisa( एसियामा LGBT हुँदा) : समिलङ्गी महिला, पुरूष, द्विलङ्गी र तेस्रोलिङ्गी (LGBT) व्यक्त र नागिरक समाजका लागि काननी तथा कानुनी तथा सामाजिक वातावरणको सहभागिता समीक्षा तथा विश्लेषण विषयक बृहत्तर् पहलकदमीको एक अंग हो।
मानव अधिकार दिवस १० डेसेम्बर २०१२ मा प्रारम्भ गरिएको ' Being LGBT in Asia' यस प्रकारको पहिलो एसियाव्यपी अध्ययनको प्रयास हो, जसमा UNDP, USAID सँगसँगै एसियाका ग्रासरूट तहका LGBT संगठन र समुदायका अगवाह संलग्न हुनेछन। आठ वटा प्राथिमकताका देशहरू कम्बोडीया, चीन,डोनेसिय, मङ्गोलिया, नेपाल, फिलिपिन्स, थाइल्याण्ड, भियतनाममा केन्दित भई यस पहलकदमीले LGBT का जीवन भोगाइहरूलाई विकास तथा अधिकारको निरीक्षण गनेर काम गदर्छ। यसले यस क्षेत्रभिरका LGBT व्यिक्तहरूका बीचमा निमार्ण गर्ने ज्ञानको आधार रेखा निमार्ण र नीतिगत संवाद र सामदायिक गर्ने परिचालनमा सहभागी बन्ने LGBT संगठनहरू को क्षमता सम्ब​न्धि बझाइको विकास गर्ने प्रोसाहित गदर्छ । यस कार्य​ माफत,' Being LGBT in Aisa'ले LGBT व्यिक्तका अन्तनिरहित् मानव अधिकार र क्षेत्रव्यपि रुपमा उनीहरुले व्य​होनुपर्ने लांछना र विभेदको विषयमा अधय​यनको प्रबधर्न गदर्छ ।
यसले यस प्रतिवेदन जस्ता अनुसन्धान तथा अन्य​ सामाजिक सञजाल सम्बद्ध र मिलटडीमेया उत्पादनहरू माफत UNDP र UN प्रणाली, USAID र अमेरिकी सरकार, साथैकी सरकार, साथै अन्य विकास साझेदारहरूका लागि LGBT-समावेशी विकास कायर्तफ विभिन्न कदमहरूको खाका पनि तयार पानेर्छ । अन्तमा यस पहलकदमीले एसियाकाभर LGBT मानव अधिकारको प्रबधर्न गर्ने सरोकारवालाहरूलाई लिङ्क गदै राष्ट्रिय​ सामुदाियक संवाद कायर्क्रमका LGBT सहभागीहरूद्वारा व्यक्त विचारलाई हाइलाइट गर्ने काम गदर्छ।
