According to displacement tracking completed in mid-June, 107 of 286 displacement sites with at least 20 households have closed. A total of 104 sites remain in 13 districts and continue to host 11,147 households (59,433 people). Of the nearly 60,000 people in displacement sites, 49 per cent are male, 51 per cent are female and 14 per cent are children under age-5.Following camp management training conducted in June, the Cluster is organizing additional roll out of training sessions to strengthen national technical capacity and further expand coverage of support services. In Kathmandu, authorities have requested to reduce services to decongest remaining displacement sites. To ensure that the displaced people continue to receive services but at the same time facilitate options for durable solutions, the Cluster is supporting the establishment of camp and women committees to ensure local ownership of site management. he Cluster continues to work closely with the WASH Cluster to identify remaining needs in the displacement sites.
