1. There have been varying degrees of progress on aspects of the Seven Point Agreement.
2. Prime Minister Bhattarai's came in for considerable criticism throughout the reporting period for his decision to expand his cabinet to 49 ministers.
3. The indefinite nationwide bandh announced by the Tharuhat Tarai Party Nepal (TTPN) on 23 November had scattered effect, with movement being haltered in some parts of the Central, Western, Mid-Western and Far-Western Tarai.
4. There have been challenges in the return of seized land despite the promises.
5. Identity politics intensify in many areas across Nepal.
6. Feuds continue to negatively affect local governance and service delivery
7. On 13 November, an earthquake of magnitude 5.0 on the Richter scale and its epicentre along the north-east of Gorkha district was felt.
