Following the 7.9 magnitude earthquake which struck Nepal on 25th April 2015, the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) was activated to meet the urgent communications needs of the humanitarian community responding to this disaster. WFP is leading the ETC in Nepal in coordination with the Ministry of Information & Communications.
