Within four days of the major earthquake that hit Nepal on 25April 2015, IOM launched DTM phase 1 in the predefined open spaces of Kathmandu valley, covering 83 such sites between 29-30 April. Phase 2 followed from 2 May and assessed 42 spontaneous sites as of 7 May.
