At the request of the Government of Nepal, urban search and rescue (USAR) teams worked around the clock to locate, INDIA National Disaster Relief Force Teams extract and provide initial medical support to victims trapped by collapsed structures. USAR teams were faced with a complex rescue operation, yet managed to rescue 16 people and provide a number of other critical services in the most affected areas.
