Following the Census exercise, the Government of Nepal and UNHCR wishes to announce that Refugee Identity Cards will be distributed to all registered refugees in seven camps - Beldangi I, Beldangi II, Beldangi Ext., Timai, Khudunabari and Goldhap in Jhapa district and Sanischare in Morang district in eastern Nepal starting on 10 December 2007. It will be conducted in one camp at a time and the first camp is Sanischare. ID cards will be distributed to registered out-camp refugees after distribution has taken place in all seven camps.
