At the request of the Government of Nepal, urban search and rescue (USAR) teams are working around the clock to locate, extract and provide initial medical support to victims trapped by collapsed structures. USAR teams are faced with a complex rescue operation. Daily coordination meetings take place at the Malty National Military Coordination Centre at the Nepal Army Headquarters.
