At 11:56 local time, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal, with the epicentre in Lamjung District (north-west) of Kathmandu and south of the China border. Dozens of aftershocks followed, including a 6.7 magnitude earthquake on 26 April 2015 at 12:54 local time.Most affected districts are Dhading, Gorkha, Rasuwa, Sindhupalchowk, Kavre, Nuwakot, Dolakha, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and Ramechhap.
