Reference: Dr Henderson, (1970). Assignment Report on School Health in Nepal, Nepal (WHO Project:SEARO 0175), WHO. URL-http://apps.who.int/iris/ The National University and College of Education each have started a student health service; and it is planned to expand both of them. For about 20 years the Ministry of Education has maintained a minor ailments treatment clinic for pupils and college students, with a whole-time doctor, at Kathmandu. No other school health services are provided, except the vaccination of some children at school. The view was expressed by the doctors and educationists interviewed that the time had come to provide a comprehensive and retentively oriented health service for schoolchildren and college and university students.
