URL-http://apps.who.int/iris/ The terms of reference for the assignment covered the following aspects: (1) to assist the Government of Nepal in the preparation of plans, designs, specifications and bills of quantities for the following 10 health institution; considering their future expansion, local conditions (especially climatic) and availability of construction materials: (a) in mountain areas of high altitude such as Jumla and Humla (b) in hilly areas (c) in terai areas, and (2) to advise on the possibility of maximum use of the locally available building material, by carrying out a survey in the respective areas.
