URL-http://apps.who.int/iris/ The aim of this one-month assignment was to study the man made problems connected with malaria in the Terai areas and to assist the Government in the planning of ecological, chemical, biological and mechanical methods of malaria control. To these ends, it was necessary: (1) to study and analyse the locally available data (2) to establish contacts with the Agriculture, Forestry, and Roads Departments, and (3) to travel along the following sections of the route of the Asian Highway crossing Nepalese territory.
