URL-http://apps.who.int/iris/ The terms of reference of the assignment were: (1) to advice the Dean of the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, with regard to the development of a curriculum for doctors designed to meet the needs of Nepal (2) to advice and assist the Dean with regard to the organization of the course, the content of its curriculum, practical experience the students will need to undergo and with regard to the evaluation of student performance (3) to advice the Dean on how various hospitals, health posts and other health care installations and public health organizations should provide the location for the learning experience of the students (4) to advice on the use of modern techniques and educational technology in the development of this programme (5) to advise on any research required in connection with the development of the curriculum for medical students.
