Development of Reporting System in Nepal

Each district has a certain number of panchayats varying with the size of the population in the district. The panchayat is the lowest unit of the administrative system. The total population of Nepal according to 1971 census is 11.3 millions. The Nepalese fiscal year commences on 16 July.
