Assignment Report on the Public Health Nursing and Training Aspects of the Integration of Maternal and Child Health Services, Nepal (WHO Project: Nepal 0008), WHO.URL-http://apps.who.int/iris/ This report deals with the public health nursing and assistant nurse midwives training aspects of the maternal and child health programme, starting with the arrival of the WHO public health nurse in august 1965. When a senior WHO nursing adviser was appointed to the nursing education and services project (Nepal 0002), WHO assistance to Nepal in nursing was regrouped under her leadership and the guidance of assistants nurse-midwifery training was transferred to this project, but with the WHO public health nurse continuing to be responsible for implementing the programme.
