since its inception in September 1997, rupp is implementing its activities in 12 partner municipality its activities in 12 partner municipalities and 31 rural market centers, rupp is supporting the people of these municipalities and rural market centers to undertake social and economic initiatives that seek to strengthen rural-urban-linkages through institutional development and the formation of economic enterprises. the primary objective of the programmer is urban development and poverty alleviation by facilitation the utilization of social and economic opportunities emerging from the development of a well articulate network of different hierarchical levels of settlements, including urban centers, rural market centers and villages.
