नेपाल अब चुनावीतेरा लम्कदै गरेको अवस्थामा महिला उम्मेदवारहरुको धरै थौरै संख्या हुनु चिन्ता बिषय हो । ति मध्य पनि अधिकांस पभावसाली पुरुस नेताहरु बिरुद उठाएका छन । महिलाले खेल्न सक्ने भूमिकाको समाजले प्रायजसो अपक्षा गरेको दिखिनछ । तर जुन समाजले महिलालाइ उचित अवसर दिएको छ , तेस समाजले उन्नति गरेको छ । जीवनका विभिन्न क्षेत्रमा धेरै महिलाहरुलो सहभागिताले संग समाजमा फाइदा पुग्ने कुरा बिभिना अधयन अनुसन्धान समेतले पुस्टि गरेको छ । अन्तररास्तिय मुदकोस आइयमयफ ले भर्खेर सम्पन गरेको महिला र अथतंत्र लैंगिक समताबाट सुक्षम अरथाशात्री लाभ नामक अध्यनले कार्य क्षेत्रमा महिला र पुरुष समान सहभागिता भएको खण्डमा देशले उतपादनतव उल्लेख्य बृदी गर्नसक्ने देखाऊछ । उदाहर्न्न्को लागि, महिलाहरुको पुरुषसरह श्रम बजारमा सहभागिता भए सयुक्त अर्व इमिरेट्स युएइ ले १२ पर्तिसत, जापानमा ९ प्रतिसत र सयुक्त राज्य अमिरिकाले ५ प्रतिसतले रास्थ्रिय कुल गाह्स्थ उतापदंमा बृदी गर्न सक्ने उक्त अधयनले देखाऊ छ ।
