स्थलगत बुलेटिन मानिसहरु अछाम र बाजुरामा आप्रबासी श्रमिकका मुद्दाको परिदृश्य

विगत केहि दशकहरु यता आप्रबासी कामदार नेपालको बिकासको मुख्य विशेषता रही आएको छ र वर्तमानमा यसले नेपालको कुल गाहर्यस्थ उत्पादनमा २० प्रतिशत भन्दा बढीको योगदान दिन्छ । विश्व बैंकको अनुमान अनुसार सन् २०११ मा २० लाख बढी भन्दा मानिसहरु विदेशमा काम गरिरहेका थिए जस मध्ये ४० प्रतिसत भारतमा रहेका थिए। तेस्रो मुलुक आप्राबासमा जाँदा लाग्ने खर्च र कागजी प्रक्रियाक कारण अनुपातका हिसाबले अन्य गन्तब्यहरु भन्दा भारतमा जाने आप्रबासीहरुको संख्या बढी छ । बेलायती सेनामा भर्ना गरिने 'गोर्खा' भनेर चिनिने नेपाली सेना र चिया बगानमा काम गर्ने मजदुरहरु शायद १९ अौँ शताब्दीको सुरु देखि नेपालका आप्रबासी श्रमिकका रूपमा सबभन्दा बढी गरिने हुन। भारत र नेपालबीच सन् १९५०मा शान्ति तथा मैत्री सन्धीमा हस्ताक्षर भई दुई देशबीच मानिसको स्वतन्त्र आवतजावतलाई अनुमति दिए पछि श्रमका लागि आप्रवास नया चरण मा प्रवेस गर्यो।
