UNHCR’S Position On The International Protection Needs Of Asylum-Seekers From Nepal

Since the signing of a peace agreement in late 2006, there have been several major developments in Nepal that fundamentally affect the international protection needs of Nepalese refugees and asylum-seekers. This paper provides an update of the situation for purposes of assessing various categories of asylum claims of individuals from Nepal.
