मानवअधिकारको संरक्षण र सम्वर्द्धनको लागि राष्ट्रिय संस्थाको रूपमा स्थापित राष्ट्रिय मानव अधिकार आयोग, मानव अधिकार आयोग ऐन २०५३ अन्तर्गत २०५७ साल जेठ १३ गते भएको हो । नेपालको अन्तरिम संविधान, २०६३ को धारा १३३ मा आयोग सम्पादित कार्यहरुको विवरण संलग्न गरी वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन राष्ट्रपतिसमक्ष प्रस्तुत गर्नुपर्ने व्यवस्था रहेको छ । प्रतिवेदन भित्र मानवाधिकारको संरक्षण र सम्वर्द्धन सम्बन्धमा सम्पन्न कामकारबाहीहरु र भविष्यमा गर्नुपर्ने सुधारको विषयहरुलाई उल्लेख गर्ने गरिन्छ । त्यसैगरी, प्रतिवेदनमा बर्षभरी परेका उजूरी, ती उजूरीउपर गरिएको छानविन, अनुसन्धान विवरण उल्लेख गरिन्छ ।
