The concerns of the federation of nepalese journalist with regard to human rights violation in Nepal, and specifically violation of human rights of journalist, the closure of newspapers and violations of the rights to freedom of expression.the secretary general is aware of the very important work being undertaken by the media in Nepal.journalist should benefit from the protections afforded by the declaration on the rights and responsibility of individuals,groups and organs of society to promote and protect universally recognized human rights instrument.the united nations will carefully examine the new media ordinance issued by the government to ascertain its compatibility with international human rights standard.the un with regard to violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law in the context of the high commissioner for human rights.special adviser travel led to Kathmandu in July of this year and personally shared the secretary general.
