Government of Nepal (GoN) has prepared Strategic Program for Climate Resilience (SPCR), which was approved by Climate Investment Fund (CIF). SPCR, Nepal identified five areas/components for investment. Among them, one of the components is "Pilot Project for Climate Resilience -Building Resilience to Climate Related Hazards (BRCRH). Under BRCRH, Components A, B and C are being implemented by Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) under Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology (MoEST). For procurement work related to World Bank financed procurement procedures, DHM requires consulting services from Individual Procurement Consultant.The objective of obtaining services from procurement consultant is to assist DHM in carrying out procurement functions for the implementation of PPCR (Building Resilience to Climate Related Hazard). The input from consultant would ensure adoption of proper procurement procedure with economy, efficiency and transparency as well as accelerate procurement practice.
