NHRC eBulletin is the 3-4 issue of volume 7 of NHRC E-Bulletin. The NHRC is Nepal’s National Human Rights Institution with constitutional mandate to work for the promotion and protection of human rights. This bulletin provides an update on the NHRC activities such as: NHRC Officials call on Chiefs of three major political parties: Attention drawn towards criminalization of politics, Monitoring carried out on the incidents of HR violations during festival holidays, Boy sustains injury in bomb explosion, NHRC resumes investigation over the incidents of killing, Guidelines on Consumers' Rights endorsed; A Legal Instrument to protect HR of consumers; South Asia’s frst guide on indicators for monitoring human rights released in Kathmandu; Cases on consumer rights violations registered; Stakeholders pledge support to implement

Criminal Cases; Indicators on ESC Rights endorsed: Immediate implementation urged; SAARC level workshop on Torture Prevention held in Kathmandu; Farewell to Forensic Anthropologist Dr. Udo Krenzer; National Children’s Day observed:
Priority shift stressed to meet basic needs of children; and End the Haliya system in Nepal say the NHRC, NDC, NWC and UN.
