Kyung-wha Kang, United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights Stated to the Press on 3 February 2008 about the OHCHR operation in Nepal, to improve human rights. He discussed with Nepalese men and women who had suffered abuses and those who strived to uphold human rights at the grassroots level. He had the opportunity to visit a prison facility in Kathmandu.
