The United Nations Mission in Nepal condemns the killing of Ram Hari Shrestha which commanders of the Maoist army have acknowledged to UNMIN was committed by members of the Maoist army. This act is a serious breach of the commitments made in the Agreement on Monitoring the Management of Arms and Armies (AMMAA) reached between the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and the then Government, as well as of fundamental human rights.
