The number of Nepalese WMWs going abroad is rising 13 Foreign labor migration comes with risks and challenges.Remittance is becoming an essential pillar of the economy.Maximizing its potential gains and benefits is therefore key.The Government of Nepal has committed to enhance the development potential of migration and has developed Foreign Employment Policy,Act and Regulation to ensure the promotion and protection of the migrant workers families.improve the access of target group to technical,financial and market services,and enhance technical,managerial and entrepreneurial capacity of the target group.Identify target group and support them on enterprise development Improve and enhance the access of the target group for technical,financial and market services and skills First historical pilot programme on Reintegration using Remittance in Nepal Increased self-confidence,decision-making,leadership development increased prestige in the community and increased access to and control over resources.Develop a comprehensive package to link remittance with creating alternatives including the retirement unemployment benefits and other social security schemes for the migrants and their families.
