"UNMIN is not monitoring this election. UNMIN is assisting the Election Commission to prepare and conduct the election. That is what UNMIN’s role is in relation to the Constituent Assembly election: to give technical assistance to Nepal’s independent Election Commission. And here in the Mid-Western region, as Simon said, that means we will be sending advisers to all 15 districts in the coming couple of weeks." -Kieran Dwyer
