Live Radio Broadcast Highlights the Work and Challenges of Women Journalists and Human Rights Defenders in the Central Terai

On the occasion of International Women’s Day (8 March) OHCHR-Nepal, UNESCO,
the Federation of Nepali Journalists (central committee) and Communications Corner organised a live radio broadcast to highlight the importance of the work carried out by women journalists and human rights defenders in the Central Terai. Despite social, cultural, economic and security challenges, these women are increasingly participating in protecting and promoting human rights, often under difficult conditions.
