Banke Killing Restricts the Freedom of all to Participate in CA Elections – OHCHR - Nepal.

NEPALGUNJ – The Mid-Western Regional Office of OHCHR-Nepal continues to investigate the killing on Tuesday 18 March of Kamal Prasad Adhikari, a candidate in the Constituent Assembly elections from the Rastriya Janamorcha party in constituency no. 2 of Banke district.
Noting that the Nepal Police arrested two persons in the hours after the killing,
OHCHR urges police to thoroughly investigate the incident, to identify those
responsible, and to ensure that charges are filed promptly.
