Constituent Assembly Committees - Summaries of Terms of Reference (TOR) and Contact Information of the CA Committees

It is well known that the Constituent Assembly has been working towards fulfilling the aspiration of the Nepali people to make a constitution for them. The meeting of the Committee to Decide on the Structure of the Constitutional Bodies formed according to Rule 66, Constituent Assembly Regulation 2065 (2008) held on 2065-9-24 (Jan.8, 2009) decided to prepare the concept paper on the following topics. In this context, the Committee to Decide on the Structure of the Constitutional Bodies heartily appeals to all Nepali citizens living in the country and in the foreign land, political parties, civil society and various organizations to provide your suggestion on those topics to this committee and be a part of constitution making. Additionally, it is also kindly requested to provide any related material, conclusions drawn from the interaction or workshop or any publication to the committee. The topics of the concept paper to be prepared by the Committee to Decide on the Structure of the Constitutional Bodies are: Identification of constitutional bodies required for governance and determination of their feature, Formation, duties and functions of the constitutional bodies, Relation of the constitutional bodies with the different level of governments Other necessary matters related to mandate of the committee.
