नेपाल सरकार र नेपाल कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी (माओवादि )ले संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघलाई शान्ति प्रक्रियामा सहयोग पुर्याउन गरेको अनुरोध बमोजिम सुरक्षा परिषदको प्रस्ताव १७४०(२००७) अनुसार नेपालस्थित संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघिय मिसन (अन्मिन) को स्थापना गरिएको हो ।
