सुरक्षा परिषदलाइ ब्रिफिङ गर्ने तयारिका लागि पास्कोकोले महासचिवको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्दै अक्टोबर ६र​७ मा गर्नुभएको नेपाल भ्रमणका क्रममा शान्ति प्रक्रियाका प्रमुख सरोकारवालाहरुसङग विस्तृत परामर्स गर्नुभ​एको थियो । यस अघि सुरक्षापरिषदले नेपाल सरकारले र एकिकत नेपाल कम्न्युष्ट पार्टी (माओवादि) बिच सेप्टेम्बर १३ मा सम्पन्न चारबुदे सहमतिको कार्यान्वयन मा भ​एको प्रगतिसम्बन्धि प्रतिवेदन बुझाउन अनुरोध गरेको थियो।
