GSF Programme in Nepal:
• Global Sanitation Fund (GSF) Programme provides USD 5 million for 5 years to promote sanitation and hygiene in Nepal targeting more than 1,750,000 population.
• National Coordinating Body (NCB) led by the Government provides the strategic guidance.
• UN-Habitat is the Executing Agency (EA).
• Aims to promote sanitation and hygiene initiatives within the framework of Sanitation and Hygiene Master Plan 2011
• Launched on 7 October 2010.
