Design catalogue of Accessible Public Toilets in Nepal

The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is implementing initiatives to address urban challenges such as land management, green infrastructure, and disaster resilience. Under the Urban Resilience Project, supported by the UN and regional offices, the program aims to align with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. It emphasizes inclusive planning, climate adaptation, and risk-sensitive urban design, particularly in vulnerable municipalities. Activities include capacity building, policy formulation, and community engagement to promote safe, sustainable, and resilient urban environments. The project also focuses on integrating gender equality, social inclusion, and participatory approaches in urban planning, with pilot designs and guidelines being developed for selected municipalities.
