Nepal’s agriculture sector, which contributes majorly to the country’s GDP, is extremely climate vulnerable. Therefore, with an aim to reduce the country’s susceptibility to climate change, the Government of Nepal is formulating its National Adaptation Plan. After an agreement between the then Ministry of Agricultural Development and FAO in 2016, the ‘Supporting Nepal to Integrate Agriculture Sector into National Adaptation Plan’ (NAP-Ag) project was implemented; this synthesis report is part of the endeavor. With technical assistance from UNDP, FAO and the German government, the roadmap summarizes lessons learnt from the NAP-Ag project.
