The increasing incidents of climate change-related natural disasters in Nepal has severely affected the agriculture sector. The need for understanding and capacity-building among government officials in reducing climate vulnerability has never been greater. This training manual, therefore, seeks to enhance the knowledge of agriculture sector planners, policy makers, extension workers and other concerned people, along with tools and methods to integrate climate change adaption into their regular plans. A product of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, this training manual had technical assistance from UNDP and FAO, and financial contribution from the German government.
