UN Nepal in collaboration with the German Embassy, Israel Embassy and EU is conducting the educational outreach program for the International Holocaust Remembrance Day in the government schools in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. In a connection of the program, UN is planning to work with youth volunteers from different educational institution to conduct educational outreach.
On the fist day of the Training of Trainers program the youth volunteers were given a presentation on Holocaust which happened in Europe during the period of Second World War. The basic agenda of the outreach is to spread awareness about the Holocaust and Hate speech which is prevalent in our society.
