The government of Nepal is committed to improve the policy improving the policy environment and scaling up programmes as well as activating existing structures at all levels for the HIV response in the country. Nepal will also maintain its outstanding track record of national reporting on the global HIV response during the September 2013 mind-term review of progress towards reaching the targets set in the Political Declaration for 2015. This country midterm review report highlights Nepal’s progress toward the 10 HLM targets set in the 2011 United Nations General Assembly Political Declaration on HIV. The report has been prepared following consultation and consensus with stakeholders including government, non-governmental organizations, civil society representatives, and community networks from key affected populations.
