As IDPs are returning to their original villages, and camps are being vacated, WASH facilities will either need to be decommissioned (when camp is being down-sized or vacated completely), and in some cases there is a need for upgrading. It is expected that some camps will need to remain open for a certain period, as families from the red zone are not able to return to their original villages right away. As such, for the WASH cluster long term maintenance plans and responsibilities need to be outlined.
