This paper was prepared by Dr. R. D. Bajracharya, Dr. K. B. Bhattachan, Dr. D. R. Dahal and Dr. P. K. Khatry, the promotion of cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue, as a follow up to the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity and to the proclamation of 21 May as the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development in the 31st Session of the UNESCO General Conference in November 2001.
