Decentralised Planning for the Child Programme-Baseline Survey Report of Six Districts

This report contains findings of a baseline study conducted by His Majesty's Government of Nepal in close cooperation with six District Development Committees and UNICEF. The purpose of this report is to generate district level knowledge in order to improve the situation of children and women of the six districts.
The decentralised planning for the child programme is being implemented in close coordination with both PDDP and seeks to address to the development needs of children and women. The survey results provide detailed information on population, social and economic characteristics, drinking water and environment sanitation, education, literacy and child health and nutrition.
