FAO in collaboration with the government agencies has put its efforts in improving awareness, knowledge and communication on climate impacts and adaptation. It will also prioritize and implement local investment by promoting Community Based Adaptation (CBA) to strengthen livelihood strategies and transfer of adaptation technology in targeted areas of the four districts.
Dissemination of success of the approach and activities of the project based on evidence has three-fold purpose to create awareness among the beneficiaries, to motivate the people living in the similar geographic area and socio-economic situations and, finally, to inform the policy makers and donors on the achievement. The project area under the following the districts of Udaypur, Siraha, Kapilvastu and Arghakhanchi has been selected to record the success story through the short films, which will reflect the desirable outcomes of the project.
