Household Food Security in Nepal
|
Within a corporate effort to better understand country-specific food security issues, WFP Nepal, with the technical assistance of the 'Vulnerability Analysis and Mapping' (VAM) branch of WFP headquarters, undertook this comprehensive food security and vulnerability analysis in Nepal. The data collection took place in September, 2005 and the analysis was carried out from November 2005.The objective of the analysis was to develop and expand the current knowledge of food insecurity and vulnerability among rural households at the sub-regional level in Nepal.
