July-September 2012 Vol. 1 .Issue 2 The Global Sanitation Fund Programme started
its intervention in Bajura District from December 2011 with the target of
benefitting 13,172 unserved households. The implementing partners were SEBAC Nepal, ECARDS and Nepal Red Cross Society. With the assistance of this programme the sanitation campaign in Bjaura district is moving very rapidly and as a result of this the Budhiganga Village Development Committee (VDC) is now on the verge of being the first VDC declaring Open Defecation Free (ODF) through the intervention of the Global Sanitation Fund Programme Nepal
