National Education Accounts In Nepal Expenditure for education 2009-2015
Abstract:
The National Expenditure in Education amounts Parents are contributing 97.4 billion Nepalese to NRPs 196.8 billion in 2014-15, an effort close to Rupee which makes up for about half (48.8%) of the NRPs 7,000 per inhabitant. It covers expenditure total funding. Households are funding fees, mainly from all public, private and external sources of for private providers (48.7% of their education funding, for all levels of education from pre-primary expenditure) and the purchase of related goods and to university, and all types of institutions, public and services (35.8%). private. It includes the funding of activities within educational institutions, such as teaching activities, administration, school meals and boarding, and the expenditure required by school attendance, like for uniforms, books and supplies, transport to school and private tuition. At Government level, the Ministry of Education (MOE) is responsible for formulating and implementing policy pertaining to education at all levels including early childhood, primary and secondary education, technical and vocational training, higher education and non-formal education.
